On June 5, 2023, AdExchanger and AdMonsters presentED awards to the 2023 Top Women in Media and Ad Tech Honorees at the always fun and inspiring Top Women Awards Gala in New York City.
Gayle Troberman, Chief Marketing Officer of iHeartMedia, receives the 2023 Industry Impact Award. Gayle joined iHeartMedia in 2014, and has since helped to reinvent the company for the podcast era, including an embrace of programmatic technology and data-driven tactics.
Prior to that, she served as Chief Creative & Ideas Officer at IPG Mediabrands and Chief Creative Officer for Microsoft for 16 years, where she was responsible for the company’s portfolio of brands including Windows, Office, Bing, and XBOX. Gayle is a well-known advocate for diversity and inclusion and led the wildly successful iHeartMedia + P&G campaign “Can’t Cancel Pride”, which began in 2020.
Lashawnda Goffin, Chief Executive Officer of Colossus SSP, a Direct Digital Holdings Company, is the 2023 Catalyst Award recipient, honoring an individual who has driven a tremendous amount of growth for the business over the past year. Lashawnda began her leadership role with the supply-side platform in 2019 and has grown the company exponentially, recently more than tripling revenues year-over-year between 2021 and 2022.
To boost revenue to these record levels, Lashawnda successfully built a high performing team to support a roster of 26,000 media properties – which offer inventory from both multicultural and general market publishers in addition to generating over 130 billion impressions per month across display, CTV, in-app. Lashawnda spearheads making Colossus SSP a more inclusive marketplace by empowering niche and multicultural publishers through partnerships, including work with Black-owned publisher Blavity, as well as CafeMedia (recently rebranded as Raptive), one of the largest networks of minority, women and veteran-owned sites.
